VALENTINES DAY...

Happy valentines day! I never understood why people hate a day that is so wonderful! I love having a special day to focus on the people I love in life! And it doesn't hurt to have a husband that spoils you all day! This year Topher sent me flowers on Wednesday and chocolate covered strawberries on Thursday! And when I came home from work he had all my favorite treats waiting for me! For dinner we had our traditional heart shaped pizza from Papa Murphy's. it was a perfect day!
I love extending our couples holiday to our little family. I'm so grateful for Topher and our little Jonathan. Life can feel so happily perfect sometimes. I'm not sure what I did to deserve it all but I'm sure grateful!

SEVEN MONTHS OLD...

as you can see, this 7 month old likes to lounge. 

he also likes to sit. 

we wish we had a picture of him crawling but he hasn't realized he likes that yet. for now he likes to:

*eat baby food (so far, he like sweet peas, squash, sweet potatoes. not bananas though, he makes a weird face when he eats those!)

*he's getting a lot better at sitting all on his own

*he rolls completely over and he just loves to arch his back when we hold him in our arms (it's really fun for us...)

*pivots when he is in crawling position

*he also likes to stand up whenever possible (with support. even if it's bedtime)

little jon keeps getting better and we are just so proud of all the progress he has made. the tiny baby that fought so hard in the NICU is just a memory and definitely doesn't have any trouble eating anymore! his chubby cheeks and thighs are proof enough of that!
